Q: What is CRV?
A: California Refund Value (CRV) is the amount paid by consumers at the checkout stand and paid back to consumers when they recycle eligible aluminum, plastic, glass and bi-metal beverage containers at certified recycling centers. The minimum refund value established for each type of eligible beverage container is five cents for each container under 24 ounces and ten cents for each container 24 ounces or greater.
A: Beer and other malt beverages Wine coolers and distilled spirit coolers Carbonated and non-carbonated water Carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks, sports drinks, and fruit drinks Coffee and tea drinks
A: Wine, Distilled Spirits, Milk, Infant formula, Medical food, 100% fruit juice in 46 oz. Or larger containers
A: In compliance with California State Law AB 1778, CRV materials over $100 require a valid California driver’s license, valid California I.D. card issued by the DMV or valid government-issued I.D. card containing a photograph and address.
Q: What is E-waste?
A: E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their “useful life.” Computers, televisions, monitors, VCRs, DVD players, stereos, copiers and fax machines are common examples. We currently accept all of these.
